³ we declare to you that which we have seen and heard, that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. ⁴ We are writing these things to you so that our joy may be complete.

God Is Light

⁵ This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
